The entrepreneur was seen sitting FROW at the 2024 Schiaparelli show wearing an embellished gown reminiscent of a recent ‘Bridgerton’ wedding dress.
Kylie Jenner isn’t missing a trick when it comes to bringing a Bridgerton look to life, if her latest appearance in Paris is anything to go by.
On Monday the entrepreneur was seen arriving for her FROW seat alongside Kelly Rutherford and Selma Blair at the Schiaparelli Couture show, dressing in a corseted, strapless baby pink floor-length gown, encrusted with countless crystals and jewels from bust to toes.
The custom look, designed by Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry, featured exposed corset boning underneath the sheer overlay of the dress, and featured an extreme take on the sweetheart neckline that skimmed Jenner’s chest. The star styled her dress with a baby pink satin shawl and pointed-toe heeled Mary Janes, as well as a matching hued veil over her pink-coloured make-up. Speaking to reporters outside the show, she revealed that she felt like a ‘princess’.The look is reminiscent of Penelope Featherington’s wedding dress in Bridgerton season three part two. In the show, Lady Whistledown said ‘I do’ dressed in a pink V-shaped dress which featured a button-up back and bustle. The character styled the look with sheer wrist-length gloves and a white veil.
Jenner’s nod to the Bridgerton character isn’t all too surprising given her sister Kim Kardashian has admitted to being a huge fan of the Netflix drama, and recently cast Nicola Coughlan, who plays Featherington, in her latest SKIMS campaign.
It’s also familiar to the ivory gown Jenner wore to the 2024 Met Gala. The star slipped into a rosewater-hued custom-made double-faced satin gown by Oscar de la Renta, which featured a figure-hugging corset and cone bra detailings with a large trumpet skirt and puffed out train.
Given the tight structure of her Schiaparelli dress, it’s no wonder Jenner was forced to lie at a 45-degree angle when journeying to and from the show venue, as seen in her recent Instagram photos.
Lady Whistledown would approve.
